Q:
Can IDS obtain protected government & financial information on people (for example bank account details and Centrelink records)?
A:
No, information like bank accounts, tax records, police records, phone & electricity accounts and government benefits are protected information under Australian Privacy Laws. IDS only obtains information from Open Sources.
Q:
Can IDS guarantee a positive result if I hire them?
A:
No, IDS can only guarantee that a 100% effort will be given on each file undertaken. We cannot guarantee that a positive result will definitely be obtained.
Q:
If I hire IDS will they provide me with a report with findings that I require to assist me with my situation? (i.e. will they "fudge" the report)
A:
No, IDS are essentially "Fact Finders" and will only report on the facts that are established.
Q:
Will IDS plant a "Bug" for me if I hire them so I can listen in on conversations?
A:
No, the use of Listening Devices (Bugs) in Australia is strictly governed by legislation and privacy laws.
Q:
If I hire IDS and they do not obtain the result I am seeking, do I still have to pay?
A:
Yes, IDS does not work on a results only basis. We charge for our time and expertise.
Q:
When & how do I have to pay my account?
A:
If you are not a regular client of IDS then we require a retainer prior to work commencing. The retainer amount will be advised once your case has been assessed. The balance fee is payable after completion of the matter and issue of our invoice. We accept cheques and most credit cards or funds can be electronically transferred.
