Nick Wright

Nick is a Director of IDS Group and manages the Background Screening Division.   Nick has been involved in the investigation industry since 1991 and joined IDS in 1997.   Nick specialises in Background Screening and has undertaken various fields of study including:

• Certificate in Investigative Services;
• Bachelor of Arts (Justice Studies) “Incomplete”;
• Graduate Certificate in Business (Professional Management);
• Certificate IV in Government Investigations; and
• Certificate IV in Government (Fraud Control).

Nick currently holds the following executive positions on Industry Associations:

• President of the Queensland Division of the Institute of Mercantile Agents Ltd (IMA);
• Process Serving Chairperson of the Australian Mercantile Agents Association (AMAA is a Division of the IMA) ;
• Vice President and Area Governor (Asia Pacific) of the World Investigators Network (WIN); and
• Founding member of the Asia Pacific (APAC) Chapter for the National Association of Professional Background Screeners (NAPBS).

Nick was also the recipient of the “Investigator of the Year Award” (outstanding service for the investigation industry) – presented at the World Investigators Network 2010 Annual Conference, Rome Italy.
